District Implementation of Professional Learning Service Agreement

DocAIRC Independent Implementation & Professional Development Terms | Published: September 2026

IMPORTANT REPRESENTATION & RELATIONSHIP NOTICE:
DocAIRC (operated by Dr. Ronald Brian Cornish) provides independent technical implementation assistance, workflow consulting, and educator professional development. DocAIRC is NOT Anthropic PBC, is not an Anthropic reseller, is not an authorized Anthropic implementation partner, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. The school district contracts for and obtains Claude directly from Anthropic PBC under Anthropic’s official terms and eligibility criteria.

Dr. Cornish holds a Doctor of Divinity from Universal Life Church — a ministerial credential, not an academic doctorate in education or technology. Learn more about his background →

1. SCOPE OF SERVICES

DocAIRC provides the specific implementation, advisory, and instructional services selected by the purchasing K-12 school district (“District”) under one of three service levels:

  • District AI Launch ($2,500): Initial district consultation, technical-readiness review, assistance with the Anthropic district enrollment workflow, domain and DNS verification guidance, coordination with authorized district IT personnel, SSO/identity provisioning implementation assistance where applicable, administrator orientation, and deployment readiness review.
  • District AI Launch + Professional Development ($5,000): Everything in District AI Launch, plus one full districtwide professional development day (up to approximately six instructional hours) covering Claude fundamentals, effective educational prompting, Dr. Cornish’s 4RO Method (Role, Reason, Request, Restraint, Output), responsible AI use, verification against hallucinations, educator workflows, and interactive Q&A.
  • District AI Accelerator ($7,500): Everything in the first two levels, plus two additional implementation and support days scheduled within thirty (30) days following the primary PD session, encompassing teacher coaching, department-specific workflows, administrator troubleshooting, and a 30-day implementation review.

2. SCHEDULING AND COMPLETION TIMEFRAMES

Professional development dates and consultation sessions must be mutually scheduled in writing between authorized District representatives and DocAIRC. For the District AI Accelerator package, the two follow-up implementation days must be scheduled and completed within thirty (30) calendar days following the primary professional development day, unless otherwise extended by mutual written agreement.

3. DISTRICT RESPONSIBILITIES AND ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROL

District technology and administrative personnel retain complete, sole, and exclusive ownership and administrative control over all District infrastructure, including DNS records, domain registrar accounts, Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 identity providers, SSO configurations, student information systems (SIS), and security policies.

DocAIRC personnel act in an advisory and technical-coordination capacity. DocAIRC personnel will never request, accept, or store District master administrative passwords, DNS registrar credentials, or root authentication keys. All credential-dependent changes must be executed by authorized District staff.

4. STUDENT DATA PRIVACY AND FERPA COMPLIANCE

Claude for Teachers is an educator and staff productivity tool; it is not configured for direct student account access. DocAIRC services do not require or involve access to personally identifiable student information (PII). Districts and participating staff members remain responsible for compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and relevant state educational privacy statutes. Participating educators are instructed during professional development on de-identification and data protection protocols.

5. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM DEPENDENCIES AND DISCLAIMER

The District acknowledges that third-party AI platforms—including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Perplexity AI, and Google Gemini—are independently owned, developed, and maintained by their respective providers. All third-party platform offers, grant programs, and institutional terms (such as Anthropic’s K-12 Claude for Teachers offer) are governed exclusively by each platform provider’s terms, eligibility criteria, and operational policies. DocAIRC does not warrant or guarantee third-party platform uptime, third-party feature changes, application approvals, or future vendor pricing structures. Mention of third-party platforms identifies the specific AI environments supported in our implementation and instructional services.

6. TRAVEL AND EXPENSES

Package fees include complete virtual delivery or on-site delivery within the greater Detroit metropolitan area. On-site engagements requiring travel outside the Detroit metropolitan area are subject to a flat $1,000 travel and lodging fee or actual documented travel expenses, as specified in the service quote or invoice.

7. RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION

Because professional development schedules require dedicated calendar reservation, written notice of rescheduling must be received at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the confirmed session date. Rescheduling requests will be accommodated based on mutual calendar availability. Cancellations received with less than 14 days’ notice may be subject to a 20% administrative rescheduling fee.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All instructional frameworks, slide decks, curriculum models, and proprietary methodologies—including Dr. Cornish’s 4RO Method—remain the intellectual property of Dr. Ronald Brian Cornish and DocAIRC. Purchasing districts receive an irrevocable, non-transferable, internal-use license to utilize all provided handout materials and frameworks for staff education.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DocAIRC’s aggregate liability under this agreement shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the District for the specific service tier purchased. In no event shall DocAIRC be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. DISTRICT PROCUREMENT & LEGAL COUNSEL REVIEW

DocAIRC welcomes formal District purchase orders (POs) and standard vendor verification forms. If District legal counsel or procurement officers require custom contractual riders, data privacy addenda, or state-specific standard clauses, such addenda may be submitted to DocAIRC for written mutual review prior to the commencement of work.
